ROLE SUMMARY
Deliver electrical and control engineering technical input to jobs and projects
Member of Project Teams to deliver project work to customers
Competent Electrical Person operating at customers` sites

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To meet HSE requirements
To act as competent electrical person at a customer site
To provide design/consultancy for the electrical/control element of projects, developing technical specifications
To support the sales activity in producing accurately estimated design solutions to customers` problems
To specify instrumentation
To produce electrical drawings
To provide critical breakdown support on electrical/control systems
To manage own delivery, and to project manage projects and sub-projects
To administer and configure Server/Client systems for customers

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate Engineer
Knowledge of Orchestrator software
Some electrical / control design and build experience an advantage

PARTICULAR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and COMPETENCIES

Knowledge
Properties of typical components
Engineering drawings (P&ID, electrical drawings, etc)
Project management principles
Quality assurance/improvement systems
PLCs and their programming environment (e.g. Allen Bradley Process Logix)

Skills
Electrical engineering design
Operate CAD systems: ME10, RSWire, ACAD (electrical)
Rig commissioning
Production of formal documents, e.g. SOP, project brief, reports, etc.
Cost-estimating potential control/electrical systems
Fault-finding on electrical systems
Using MS Office applications

Competencies
Electrical / Control Design
Instrument / Control Commissioning Technician
Electrical Technician
